To try to describe the environment where the Rural House El Encinar de Bizcandia is located would be impossible, maybe the best thing would be to ask those who have visited us and they have repeated its stay, so we would know what is what they liked the most.
Some of them say they prefer to be in the middle of the nature but near to Granada so they can be able to visit La Alhambra, El Generalife, the Cathedral, La Alcaiceria, El Albaycin, La Cartuja, the Royal Chapel, the old Granada, the University area, etc.
Others comment us that they prefer to be in the middle of the nature but near to the ski slopes of Sierra Nevada, so they can spend the day skiing and the night having dinner and resting in a place of first quality and without noises.
Finally, there are some people who prefer to be in the middle of the nature to enjoy it, making trips, trekking, riding horses, riding mountain bikes, making pictures of the animals that there are in the surroundings (mountain goats, foxes, partridges, rabbits, hares, eagles, badgers, golfinches, butterflies, etc) or looking at the lanscape full with light and colour and with the thoausands and thousands of stars that come out at nighr to tell us that there isn't any contamination.
And there are also others who enjoy sunbathing in the pool during the whole day in summer. But at late - night they go down to Granada to have some glasses of wine with tapas in the city or passing the day in the beaches of our tropical coast which is less than half an hour by car. Well, there are different possibilities for all tastes.
They will be able to see the Alayos os Dilar, the most well-known mountain range in the region, the river Dilar whose flow comes directly from the summits and snow of Sierra Nevada.

The Rural House El Encinar de Bizcandia is lined with leafy pine groves. The church of the Monteses, El Corazon de la Sandia, Penon Bermejo, los Atalayones are some of the main points that make of this area a hidden paradise to a step of Granada.
In our environment they can be found protected species as many animals (butterfly Dilar Nevadensis) as floral that you can look at walking by the surroundings. The temperatures have a curious behaviour, we could say that they are capriciour; since in winter they are 4 or 5 degrees higher than in Granada and in summer we have the great luck that the temperatures are 7 degrees lower than in the capital and that in the coast, so we enjoy warmer temperatures in winter and cooler temperatures in summer.
