In Granada to 17 km of the monumental city, it's found the rural House El Encinar de Bizcandia, in the paradise of the National Park of Sierra Nevada. We want to present you this beautiful area where the Rural House is located, through the description of this one that we will make in these lines.

The National Park of Sierra Nevada includes a wide extension of the surface of the province of Granada and one of these privileged areas is the municipality of Dilar, where the Rural House is located (910 meters on the level of the sea).

The Rural House El Encinar de Binzcandia is an Andalusian farmhouse of the XVIII century. The first documents that we have of the farmhouse date from 1724 when its owner the graduated D. Francisco Barreneche de la Hoz y Bizcandia decided in another place of his property to built a Mill, another building of his property.

The name of which we have knowledge of the property was the name of the Almorox, or of the Encinar and with the passage of time with the name of the Bizcandia, from there the union of the Encinar with Bizcandia that it is how the Rural House is known currently.

It's a reformed farmhouse in accordance with the current necessities. It has kept the structure and taste of the primitive farmhouse but at the same time it has also incorporated the current basic comforts (electric light, running water, central heating, swimming pool, solid wooden balconies with double glasses...) to make the stay the most comfortable.

It has got eight double rooms with bathroom, closets and heating in all os them; the balconies and blinds are solid wooden with double glasses; and how curiosity, al the rooms are named and identified with the names of peaks, mountains and valleys of the area.

The Rural House has got a wide living room with a big chimney, which besides heating the room, it makes pleasant a chat between friends. Reading is also possible to the heat of the embers. All the guests in the Rural House have a bar decorated with old posters that announce flamenco hights and glorious afternoons of bulls, at their service, as well as a wide dining room where they will be able to taste the gastronomy of the area. The Rural House El Encinar de Bizcandia is decorated with recovered furniture of the old farmhouse as well as antiques of the area, which create a traditional atmosphere and make the guest to enjoy the old andalusian farmhorse taste and the mountains area of Dilar. Everything of this with the comforts of the present.

The farmhouse has got three floors, with a total extension of 600 m2 of construction. Outside of the Rural House there is a big swimming pool, with a system of purification of water, surrounded by a wide grass small holding, an extensive grove, springs and sources. By opening the solid wooden main door the guest will be able to enjoys the environment, a paradise to a step of Granada.

The food that they can be enjoy in the Rural House is totally natural, artisan and typical of Sierra Nevada's region
